No. You need a HDD or 2.5 inch SATA SSD. I am researching how make DSM install on and run from an NVME drive. |

Was about to ask the same. @007revad What are the main obstacles that come to mind immediately without doing much research? And hypothetically, what workarounds / solutions could be applied? In the meantime, I transferred all the Shared Folders to Volume 2 (M.2), but according to this guide https://www.techspark.de/speed-up-synology-dsm-with-hdd-ssd/ the system raids I wonder if it would be externally possible to manipulate it and clone the partitions over to the SSD. |
