Wouldn't this leak?

Overlay service is a root singleton, so destroy doesn't happen.
And the click doesn't need to happen.

Reconsidering this.
That code boils down to element.addEventListener('click', e => this._hide(..)) (simplified), which means that the element holds a reference to the service and not the other way around. So it wouldn't leak memory.

What can happen is that the arrow function can be added multiple times on the same element.
