Map appearance outside Israel

While this is probably not relevant to most people, sometimes, you can find yourself outside Israel.
In this case you only see the "yellow" background and nothing else.
This experience is similar to a problem in getting the map data and can be confusing to the user (mainly myself :-)).
It would be great to know that everything is working and that I'm outside Israel at the same time.
