Samourai wallet crashes when scanning a QR code

Hi,

I am a new user and just recently installed the wallet. I added the F-Droid Repository from samouraiwallet.com and all went well with F-droid installation. The app seems to function OK, however I am having problems I try to scan a QR code such your donation link on the web site. Samourai wallet will open the camera OK to scan, but as soon it focuses and tries to decode a QR code thats moment the app crashes with the error:

"Unfortunately, Samourai has stopped"

It will then kick me out the app for a second, then return me to the Samourai wallet keypad login screen where I can login as usual. I know its not a lot of info to go off. If it helps the app is very stable and I can activate the camera as if to scan a code for as long as I want, come in and out of that scanning mode and back to the main wallet screen, the app never crashes. Its only when you put a QR code in front of the camera and at the moment of computing the QR code does it crashes. I've looked at the permissions on my phone and as far as I can see the wallet has full access to the camera.

Android 6.0.1

@Logicdemon have you updated to the current release available at https://samouraiwallet.com/download? Curious if this issue persists for you on the most recent release, there was a fix pushed that may be related. Unsure as your Android version is below the recommended version and so could be part of the issue.

Also fyi this Github is deprecated, Samourai Wallet and associated code is on their self-hosted Gitlab available at https://code.samourai.io/wallet/samourai-wallet-android so that any issues you report are seen by the development team.
