E-Stroe_ssh

An E-store based on Struts2, Hibernate and Spring.

STEP1: Database design:

DataBase Design:
	User table:
		user_id
		user_username,
		user_password,
		user_phone,

		user_name,

		user_status(if activative),

	Classification table:

Import configuration files:

STEP3: Main page and User operations:

1.Create index page, login page and register page(/jsp/index, /jsp/register.jsp, /jsp/register.jsp).
2.Create columns for all the fields in user table.
3.Write Utils for checkcode creation and verification(By Ajax).
4.Write UserService and UserDao:
	UserDao:save data into MySQL database.
	UserService:
		1.Call UserDao to save user information.
		2.Send activative e-mail to user.
			1)Install eyoumailserversetup.exe(In /WebContent/softwares/eyoumailserversetup.exe) to send e-mail;
			2)Set up the URL. 
			3)Create Accounts.
5.Front-page and back-end user infomation validation.
	Front-page:
		Check required columns are not null and use regex to check e-mail format.
		Use Ajax or jquery(same as Ajax) to check is username is valid(valid if it is not existing).
	Back-end:
		Use validator in Struts2(UserAction-user_login-validation.xml, UserAction-user_register-validation.xml).
6.Send E-mails to user to Active.
	mail.properties:Used to save information of host e-mail. Information varies according to e-mail providers configuration.
	/src/ca/mcmaster/shop/utils/MailUtils.java: Utils of sending e-mail.
7.Activative User after user active their account in their e-mail.
8.User login action to check if user is activated and if so, save user entity into session.

STEP4: Level1 menu, Hot/new products in Main page:

1. Create level1Service to find level1 menu from database and use this service in index.action, load the titles in main page.
2. Create productService to find hot and new products. Save them into valuestuck and load them on Main page.

STEP5: list.jsp to show level1 and level2 menus and products:

1. Create action leads from level1 menu in main page to list.jsp.
2. In this actions:
	1. Find all level1 and level2 menus from database. (level2 menus belongs to level1 menus)
	2. Find all products belongs to current level1 menu. 
	3. Create page splite functions to show specific numbers of products in the page.(PageHibernateCallback.java) 
3. Create an action used to show all products belongs to level2 menu.

STEP6: Create product.jsp to show information of selected product from list.jsp:

1. Create action to get product information by product_id and load it on product.jsp.

STEP7: Add products to cart:

1. Get product_id and count from product.jsp and create a cartItem, add the cartItem into session.
2. Create an action from product.jsp to order.jsp:
	1. Read session and load all product information to order.jsp.
