The Bouvet Development Kit (BDK) package allows you to easily create applications for HoloLens 2 using Unity Software.

BDK has only been tested with the following versions of Unity and Visual Studio so far. There are plans to move to Unity 2021 once it enters LTS, using 2021 is at your own risk.

BDK can be downloaded as a package in Unity, to learn more on how to get BDK through Unity and how to start developing apps go to our Getting started page.

Floating Menu
The floating menu is a type of panel that can hold any content or menu. |
Hand Menu
The hand menu is another common and simple menu. |
Clock Menu
The clock menu prefab is an example of a menu that appears where a watch would normally be. |
Drape Menu
The drape menu is a menu that is attached to the left hand and can be accessed by pulling on a tab. |
Overhand Menu
The Overhand Menu will spawn over your palm and will stay there when closing the palm. |
GlowInteractableButton
Interactable button is the main button component of BDK. |
Pinch Slider
The slider prefab is a grabbable object that can only be moved along one axis. |
Bounding box prefab
A prefab that shows an example of a hologram that gets a bounding box around it when the user looks at it or moves close to it. |
Bounding box frame prefab
Another variant of the Bounding box prefab, where it only higlights the wireframe. |
TwoHandInteractable
A generic prefab that shows the setup of a Hologram that can be interacted with both hands. This example does not have a bounding box. |
