How to produce an ISBN barcode without the 5-digit add on #251
-
Hi Terry, Thank you for the amazing script that helps literally millions... I'm a Scribus user, and I'd like to place my first barcode on a book's cover... a 2 block barcode, with the 5 digit "item price" addition... But I'd prefer the barcode without the second block (the five digit price info), If only you could add an option to "point of sale / ISBN" to be one block only... :) Thank you for developing the free world's barcode generator!! GS1 DataBar is not a type of ISBN and cannot be used on publications at point of sale. Use the ISBN encoder and omit the 5 digit addon text from your data input as shown in the documentation: https://github.com/bwipp/postscriptbarcode/wiki/ISBN |
