Breezy Cards

Create a repository of user-tailored flash cards, compiled in collections. The collections can be made public or private, and users can log in to access their own private collections.

Hurdles

We mistakenly duplicated our Git commits/branches/changes/master branches while trying to fix an unfortunate commit.:boom: To clean up our working process, we created a new repository.

Project on the web

Our production app https://chingu-angular.firebaseapp.com/. Our development app https://chingu-angular-staging.firebaseapp.com/.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/browser directory. Use the --prod flag for a production build.

Switching between firebase environments

Run firebase use default to switch to production environment. Run firebase use staging to switch to development environment.

Deploy

Run firebase deploy to update the firebase app. The build artifacts will be uploaded from the dist/browser directory.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
