I search for Lidar and Miami-Dade. From the list of data sets, I chose "show more" for "2018 Miami-Dade ITD Lidar".
Press Download and choose DAV. It will show a map view where using "Draw" option, the area could be selected. The chosen area should be small enough to let the item to be added to the Cart.
Change the parameters as desired but for having building in the final data choose All instead of Ground. Tif file could be requested instead of LAS point clouds.
Then press next and provide an email address. When data is ready, you will receive a notification. If area is large data will be multiple tif files that could be merged later using QGIS.
Las data also could be requested. The file size will be large ( around 120 GB for area from Sunny Isle to southeast Miami). For conversion to tif using ARCGIS from las, create las dataset (takes time) and then covert to Rastar and save as a tif.
