we got a sweet donation today: a "Makibox" 3D printer, partially assembled and with a broken extruder and cracked acrylic case but theoretically functional! From the looks of it it could be pretty precise as there are no belts involved and all movement is controlled by trapezoid threaded rods...

I'll be the "dad" on this one though and lock it away until the Kossels are finally calibrated (see #58 and #62 ) so we don't add more wounds to an already bleeding printer farm - believe me, I'd like to get this started as soon as possible but I know I wouldn't find the time for the older and maybe less exciting issues otherwise and am pretty sure you guys feel the same :-P
