disable-pcspeaker

Disable annoying pc speaker beeps for your peace of mind.

Installation

Run sudo make install so it disables the pc speaker as of next reboot.
Run sudo -i disable-pcspeaker if you want to mute the noise now without having to reboot. It non-persistently disables the pc speaker for the current session.

Both steps combined ensure that after their execution you'll never hear the pc speaker again. Finally.
