Can Magic Leap release this under a more permissive licence?

This would do justice to the great work done by the authors and allow many smaller organisations to build upon this work.

Larger organisations that are true competitors of Magic Leap (Apple/META) have the capability and resources to build and train their own implementations. (And have presumably already done so).
