AI has tremendous potentials in the field of medicine. This specialization by deeplearning.ai divided into 3 courses focuses on the application of AI in medical diagnosis, medical prognosis, and medical treatment.

Course 1: AI in Medical Diagnois Course Link

Objectives:

  • Week 1: Disease Detection with Computer Vision

    • Lab: Data Exploration and Cancer Diagnosis Link
    • Lab: Counting Labels and Weight loss Function Link

    • Lab: Patient Overlap and Data Leakage Link
    • Assigment: Chest X-Ray Medical Diagnosis with Deep Learning Link

  • Week 2: Evaluating Models

Course 2: AI in Medical Prognosis Course Link

Objectives:

  • Understand what is prognosis and routine clinical practice of risk evaluation.

  • Build models such as random foresta / decision trees to model non-linear relationship in clinical data.

  • Build Survival model to predict time to an event ( i.e diease reoccurance after treatment).

  • Using methods such as Cox proportional hazard model and survival tree to evalue the survival model.
