How many tiers can I create?

Hi, I'm curious about how many tiers can I create? I wish to create proprietary plugins/software (each plugin/software per tier), is there a limit of tiers?

Hi! There is no limit to how many tiers you can create!

The only relevant limitation that we have is that a subscriber can only be subscribed to one tier at a time (which would be an amazing problem to have!). That could be worked around by creating more tiers with combinations or bundles of plugins. Or we'd have to make some changes on Polars side to support subscriptions to multiple tiers at the same time.

That's sadly, actually I want to subscriber to pay the plugins/softwares they want (subscribe muliple tiers), if bundle plugins into to a tier, it will inevitably contain some plugins that the user does not need.

Another idea for this is that tier allows subscribers choose up to X private repos (not fixed repos).

At the moment I only need about 5 different tiers.

This is a cool idea too! Your use case really resonates with me, and is something that we really want to support in the near future.

I've tried, phone number verification is required, but I got invalid phone number error, I think Discord doesn't support phone number from particular region (China), so I ask this on GitHub.

@razonyang Good news: We've removed the limitation a ~month ago and it's now possible for customers to subscribe to any number of tiers. Saw this now as I'm cleaning up our issues/discussions and updating how we manage a transparent backlog. So wanted to share the news with you :-)
