Sorry for the double-post, but I ran into another issue.
When changing a file in /static/ ("site.css" in my case) and reloading the website the old file continues to be used. If you force-off the browser cache (in developer-tools) the correct file gets downloaded and subsequently used. I am not super familiar with the intricacies of browser-caches, but to me this looks to be an issue with how the browser determines which files to get from cache. The problem is present in both chrome and firefox therefore I am still asking here as it appears to be independent of the browser used.
