Is ESGST still around?

There were no commits for over a year. The plugin is very heavy on browser and frequently breaks on Steamgifts pages, many features are straight broken, there is over 50+ open issues with no activity and very few pull requests without any reaction/merges.
Is ESGST done? Any alternatives around that are still being supported?

With the project (currently) abandoned you won't get a reply from Rafael anytime soon.
You could switch over to the script (and check for more up to date forks; no, I don't know of any, I didn't check). Rafael's script works perfectly fine right now with the exception of advanced filters. So does the extension.

You should use the "Clean old data" feature (next to the Save Changes button at the top of the menu).
If the extension is still causing you issues then other extensions/scripts you're using are likely the contributing factor that are causing the site to break for you.
