Can't close Grid / JEI search clash

Describe the bug

Escape won't close the Grid's GUI, making it seemingly impossible to close the menu without closing the game. It seems like the grid's search box takes priority over everything else which could be the problem, as you can't use backspace in JEI's search box (which is why I put these in the same issue).

How can we reproduce this bug or crash?

1. Set up a grid
2. Right click on a grid
3. Try to close the grid with escape
4. The grid will not close. expected: the grid closes like normal.

Minecraft 1.20.1

Fabric 0.14.24-1.20.1
