Hey there! I am a scientist and open source advocate. I am Irish, and I'm currently working as a data scientist in MPL, Erlangen, Germany.

What do I do for open-source in my job?

As part of my day-to-day employment, I help maintain packages such as dclab, ShapeOut2, and several educational repositories in the GuckLab organisation, such as Python-Workshops and SciViz.

And in my free time?

In my free time, I continue to maintain packages such as the TEMUL Toolkit and TopoTEM. I also contribute to packages like scikit-image and scipy.

What would I use your donations for?

I would be able to spend more time maintaining projects like the TEMUL Toolkit and TopoTEM. I would invest my time into making the Model Refiner class integrated with several simulation softwares (like PyPrismatic and Abtem). I could also develop new packages and projects if you or others are interested in that!
