I am a professional software developer who moonlights as a visual artist and DJ. When I am not making music, visual art, or at work I like to write software tools which (hopefully) solve problems and make life easier for makers, artists, and other software people.

Currently I have several projects on the go. My main focus for sponsorship is Bandcamp Enhancement Suite which is a Chrome extension which modifies the Bandcamp platform to make it easier for DJs to find great music. Additionally, I have a number of smaller projects which focus on: using Raspberry PIs as standalone digital art displays, Python libraries providing extra functionality, and Arduino libraries for interfacing with hardware.

Sponsorship is important to me because it will allow me to spend more time on software projects--in essence, some cash flow will let me reduce my "day job" hours and start contributing more to these less financially lucrative projects.

This is how I will spend the funds: every dollar I get will go towards paying me a wage to help subsidize the work I do on these projects. I will continue to work on these projects even without sponsorship but, as mentioned above, having income outside of my job will allow me to contribute more since I will rely on that work less.
