Show preloader if request/response is longer than xx seconds #1

Hi, how to make it work with criteria that preloader is shown only if it takes to long for request/response to be made. For example, if request/response is done less than in 500 milliseconds, than don't show preloader, but if >= 500 milliseconds, than show preloader
