Clarification needed on Log Model Evidence Calculation in tapas_fitModel

Dear Chris,
I have a question regarding the equation on line 570 in tapas_fitModel

In the following equation, I believe the plus sign before the term d/2*log(2*pi); does not penalize for the number of parameters, but rather does the opposite:
LME = -optres.valMin + 1/2*log(1/det(H)) + d/2*log(2*pi);

Since I am not entirely sure, I would appreciate some clarification on this matter.
