When moving the mouse on X axis, the offset seems to be scaled:

I don't have this issue on Y axis.

I've restored the old version, this one's now called "Special mode" and it's optional. The math & logic behind it is not implemented by me. @34700 ping, could you please also look at this 👀 ?

Seems that @34700 is inactive, @Glandos could you try using just cursor source and do this Transform > Edit Transform > Positional Alignment > Center for that scene item, or cropped special mode is must have feature for you?
