3.0 discussion thread.

3.0 will give us a chance to add backwards incompatible changes to the bot (changing configuration, api, etc)

Anything that is controversial we can split into its own ticket and discuss there. I am seeking your opinions and thoughts. Now that I am not the only one using it, it'd be good to get the community involved.
