make -C LINUX=1

Alternives methods for compiling

Using the instructions under, before compiling, you'll have to install discord-rpc for linux. You can either get it from here or (maybe) from your distro's packages.

In any case, the compiler needs to be able to make the link with ldiscord-rpc. Basically, on a typical install, the files /discord-rpc/linux-dynamic/include/*.h and /discord-rpc/linux-dynamic/lib/libdiscord-rpc.so (from the discord-rpc-linux.zip) needs to be install respectively in /usr/include/ and /usr/lib/ (or /usr/local/include/ and /usr/local/lib/ depending on your distro).

Add a compile flag to step 3, to get: make -C src/ LINUX64=1 clean && make -C src/ LINUX64=1 HAVE_DISCORDRPC=1

First you have to download the game's assets.

wget https://github.com/STJr/Kart-Public/releases/download/v1.6/AssetsLinuxOnly.zip

Extract and delete archive :

mkdir sbr2kartfiles ; unzip AssetsLinuxOnly.zip -d sbr2kartfiles ; rm AssetsLinuxOnly.zip

Dependencies :

sudo apt install -y libgme-dev libsdl2-mixer-dev libsdl2-dev zlib1g-dev libpng-dev nasm build-essential git libcurl4 libcurl4-openssl-dev

Download Source code :

git clone https://github.com/STJr/Kart-Public.git

Go in to the folder :

cd Kart-Public

Optional - change branche (look the one you wan in https://github.com/STJr/Kart-Public/branches/all )

git checkout next

Start Compiling

make -C src/ LINUX64=1 clean && make -C src/ LINUX64=1

You executable is in ~/SRB2/bin/Linux64/Release/
