AppBot is a production-scale Discord bot and a dedicated project from 2016 to 2020. It gained profound popularity over the years, with over 13,000 users adding it to their servers. AppBot was written in Python and utilized 15+ modules including RethinkDB and Flask for its development. In addition to its comprehensive features and successful development, AppBot showcased a fully-fledged 24/7 support team of professionals, instrumental in ensuring smooth operations, addressing user inquiries, proactive response to bug reports, and providing timely assistance to the growing community of users.
The uploaded source code is a version of AppBot, written in 2018. During this period, a significant milestone in AppBot's development was the transition from a basic HTML website to a dynamic site utilizing Jinja. This pivotal upgrade empowered the bot to deliver a more engaging and interactive user experience through a web dashboard.
AppBot was developed using Python 3.6, which was the latest version at the time. The code was tailored for deployment on our Linux servers and bot profiles, making it less readily compatible with other systems. Attempting to run the code on different setups will likely necessitate substantial modifications to adapt it for specific environments.
Moreover, it's important to note that the codebase was written in 2018, further emphasizing the need for adjustments to accommodate changes in Python and related dependencies since that time. To ensure successful deployment, running the code on your computer will require extensive alterations to make it compatible with your particular setup.
