Not much to say for now, it’s supposed to be (eventually, at least) a simple and efficient bittorrent client. This readme will be updated when there’s more than just a .torrent and node files.
I’ve been using this project to try out literate programming with org mode in emacs. That means that, most of the time, I write my code in the org files, and try to comment and document anything on them; which leaves the actual source files without any comments. I recommend reading through the .org files instead of the actual source files if you’re looking for any explanations or help.
As of whichever commit this part gets added, this program only works with torrents that have an announce property. To be completely honest, I don’t know if there are standards or good practices to a torrent file, I’ll have to learn about it at some point, but for now, this is all the program can do. The best example of it is the archiso that I still haven’t taken out of the repo: it doesn’t have an announce property, so the program would crash when trying to use it. I’ve started using the endeavouros iso for now instead (yes, I like arch, and also use it bwt), but will try to find a way of reading any (common) torrent.
