Why would you use Forge for a performance pack when Fabric is way better at that?

This pack is meant to be used as a base for adding your own mods on top of it and lots of bigger mods don't run on Fabric. If you don't plan to add any other mods to it and instead opt for a vanilla-experience I would suggest using a Fabric Modpack like Performium.

Benchmarks (Vanilla vs Performancify) on Performancify v1.0.2 Minecraft 1.20.1

Comparison between fps for vanilla and performancify (vanilla is at 881 fps and performancify is at 1670 fps)

Settings (The same on both Vanilla and modded)

Setting Value
MINECRAFT 1.20.1
Render Distance 12 Chunks
Max Shadow Distance 8 Chunks

Mods used (On the latest version of the pack for NeoForge)

Performance Mods:

  • Sodium (Adding the efficient rendering engine.)
  • Ksyxis (Speeds up loading of the world by rendering all chunks every time you load a world.)
  • ImmediatelyFast (Optimizes all immediate mode rendering by using a custom buffer implementation)
  • BetterF3 (Makes the F3 menu customizable. My included config removes a lot of the unneeded information which improves performance.)
  • Dynamic FPS (Reduces FPS when you're not tabbed into Minecraft (CONFIGURABLE).)
  • Entityculling (Hides blocks/entities that aren't visible.)
  • Clumps (Merges XP orbs together into bigger but lesser clumps to improve performance.)
  • Packet-Fixer (Fixes issues with packets.)
  • Modernfix (Overall performance enhancer.)
  • FerriteCore (Reduces memory/RAM usage.)
  • Noisium (Optimises worldgen performance)
  • BadOptimizations (Overall optimizations mod for things other than rendering)
  • Fast IP Ping (Speeds up servers loading in the server menu.)
  • Fast Paintings (Fixes painting rendering, increasing their performance and allowing them to have custom models)
  • Lithium (Game logic/server optimization mod.)
  • Let Me Despawn (Improves performance by tweaking mob despawn rules.)
  • Sodium Culling Leaves (Adds culling to leaf blocks, providing a huge performance boost over vanilla.)
  • Remove Reloading Screen (Makes resource packs load in the background, allowing you to do other things while waiting!)
  • Better Beds (Changes the renderer of the bed to use json models instead of a block entity renderer!)

Quality-of-life Mods:

  • Resourcify (Adds a menu to install shaders and resource packs from within the game. Screenshot)
  • Iris (Adds shader support.)
  • JustZoom (Adds a configurable zoom function to the camera.)
  • Sodium Dynamic Lights (Adds dynamic lighting. Makes a torch you hold in your hand light the place without placing it.)
  • Puzzle (Adds resourcepack features and a GUI to configure OptiFine alternative)
  • e4mc (Open a Lan world to anyone even people outside your network.)
  • Cubes Without Borders (Allows you to play Minecraft in a borderless fullscreen window.)

Resource packs:

  • Low on fire (Lowers the fire on your screen when you're on fire.)
  • Fast better grass
  • Watch of undying (Replaces the totem of undying with a watch that is invisible when holding it in your hand giving you better visibility.)
  • Low shield (Holds the shield lower in your hand with better visibility)
