  • Start with glossary.jade and discuss the terms within the team, so that all team members use the same terms throughout.

  • Pause and rewrite rather than simple linguistic translation.

  • Pure linguistic translation often looks odd to native speakers. Ideally our readers should not be able to tell that the articles are translations. Therefore we have got into a working cycle of read → absorb → pause → rewrite.

  • You may feel a bit slow at the beginning, but once the habit is formed, you will find that after taking a pause and switch your thought from using English to using your native language, rewriting the paragraph in native expressions is not only faster, but also produces much better quality result.

  • Always pull before a new session of work

  • Commit and push frequently to prevent accidental losses

  • Conflicts are our enemy, fetch and merge with angular.io regularly. Delaying would make merging task more difficult. It is way better to break the work in small pieces rather than allowing the conflicts to grow out of control.
