#Prerequisites

8 GB RAM or more and sufficient hard drive space is recommended

###Single-workstation:

FreeEed works in Windows, Mac or Linux.
Java 7 or later needs to be installed
MS Office/Outlook are not needed
For image creation (PDF) you need OpenOffice or OfficeLibre
On Linux, you need to install utilities: readpst, etc. FreeEed will tell you which utilities you need if you are missing any, and how to install them.

###Virtual Machine:

You can run FreeEed VM in VirtualBox

###Amazon Cloud:

You can run the same FreeEed VM as a single workstation on Amazon. If your regulations allow this, the advantage is a fast cloud server, for which you pay hourly charges to Amazon
