- You can type single terms like "John" or "Smith". The review will search multiple metadata fields: Subject, Body, From, To, custodian, etc.
- The query syntax is field-name:value, e.g. Custodian:John. The case is important, "Custodian" not "custodian". Copy the metadata field name verbatim.
- All the metadata field names are shown on the right of the page for each document.
- To search for non-empty fields, do
- fields-name:*
- For example, to find all documents with automatic summaries, do
- summary:*
- You can create complex queries adding AND and OR (use upper case AND and OR.)
- Example of a search for the date range: Creation-Date:[2000-01-01 TO 2001-01-01]
- Complex query example: find custodian John with emails from 2000-01-01 to 2002-01-01, you should use
- Creation-Date:[2000-01-01 TO 2002-01-01] AND Custodian:John
