👋 Hello, I'm a recent university graduate and an Engineering Manager over at Hack Club; a nonprofit that teaches teenagers how to code. At my day job I work with a handful of teenagers to teach them Ruby on Rails. I also lead the development of a platform used by nonprofits to manage their finances.

One of my goals for 2024 🎆 is to dive deep into the open source world. I've previously contributed to a handful of open source projects including Ruby, Ruby for Good, and Raycast; but I want to do more!

In the past two years, I launched two open-source packages 🚀:

• https://github.com/garyhtou/toggl-track: ⏳ A TypeScript client for the Toogl Track API.
  toggl-track was created so that I could invoice clients for my work
• https://github.com/hackclub/increase-ruby: 💸 Ruby API client for Increase, a platform for Bare-Metal Banking APIs.
  increase-ruby was built as a part of my compensated work at @hackclub

Starting in 2024 🗓️, I'd like to expand my open source contributions beyond work-adjacent projects!
