Install the Wanchain Wallet
If you participated in the Wanchain Alpha or Beta programs, uninstall the Wanchain Wallet.
Step 1: The latest official release of the Wanchain Wallet - GUI can be found here: https://github.com/wanchain/go-wanchain/releases/tag/v1.0.0
Step 2: Download the version for the system that you use and unzip the file (if required). Currently we support Windows, Mac and Linux.
Step 1: Click on the WanWalletGui-installer executable file and agree to the Terms and Conditions
Step 2: Click Next to install the Wanchain Wallet in the default directory
Step 3: Click Install to start installing the blockchain data in the default directory. Please note the minimum storage space requirements.
Step 4: Wait for the installation process to complete and click Close
Step 5: A folder will launch automatically with shortcuts for the WanWalletGui and Uninstall. A WanWalletGui shortcut is also installed on the Desktop.
Step 1: Save and Unzip the current version of the Wanchain Desktop Wallet (e.g. WanWalletGui-mac-1.0.0)
Step 2: Click on the WanWalletGui-mac-1.0.0.zip file to extract the WanWalletGui Application
Step 3: Based on the security and system preferences, Mac OS may prompt the user with the below pop-up. Click Open.
Step 4: The Launch screen opens indicating the status of the connection with the Wanchain Blockchain and with the prompt to LAUNCH APPLICATION
