m1 mac white screen, no messages shown #7798

I've never been able to use wire-desktop with my m1 mac, I always get the white screen. |
are you located not in the EU by any chance? Otherwise, I would suggest just using https://app.wire.com for the time being. Let me know if you happen to notice it working in the first case. This is something we need to look into more. |
I am not in the EU, I followed your suggestion and left Wire open for more than an hour and I still have the white screen. Since the Wire desktop app doesn't work for me I do use https://app.wire.com but it doesn't load my conversation history, it always says it won't do it for privacy reasons. |
just fyi you can load your conversation history from other devices running web/desktop instances. https://support.wire.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000824805-Back-up-your-conversation-history I think unfortunately your issue must be something else but its a bit of a mystery for me currently. I'll see if its something we can reproduce internally. |
Opening the app results in a white window with no messages shown. The Wire app works fine on my phone and my laptop but not on my desktop.
